OpenAtrium @Santa Barbara Drupal

07 Jul in Drupal, Geek Event

Adam Ross (aka Grayside on Drupal.org) gave a great, in-depth presentation on OpenAtrium. OpenAtrium is known as an "intranet in a box" since it provides great project management & case tracker tools from the jump-off. Since I've gotten involved in both the LADrupal.org redesign and DrupalCamp LA camp projects, I've had a chance to really feel the true power of OpenAtrium. Really informative talks by everyone involved.

It didn't hurt that we met at the gorgeous Marine Sciences department at UC Santa Barbara which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Carpooled up there with my friends from Exaltations of Larks. We also had a "Drupal After Dark" where all of the night's attendees headed over to an off-campus burrito spot that was pretty good. "Drupal After Dark" are informal social gatherings where Drupalistas get together over food and beverages to talk Drupal. Looking forward to next month's meetup!

Easy Pumpkin Cookies

I love the look of your website. I recently built mine and I was looking for some design ideas and you gave me a few. May I ask you whether you developed the website by yourself?Easy Pumpkin Cookies

What you think of dotProject?

I have used dotProject before because my host provides it as an easy install but never heard of OpenAtrium. I'm reading this just in time as I am looking to get back & try out project management software again. It being open source makes it all the better. Thanks!
